LOCATION: HOUSTON, TEXAS

ARCHITECT: ZIEGLER COOPER ARCHITECTS

Historic restoration of the 1934 Wilson Printing Building at 500 Fannin, originally designed by renowned Houston early 20th century architect William Ward Watkin. The building had fallen into a state of extreme disrepair after having been vacated in the late 1990’s. In 2013, it was fully restored, including replacement of the original windows with replica windows by St. Cloud and the complete reconstruction of the historic walkway awning along Prairie Street and Fannin Street. The project was recognized with a Good Brick Award from Preservation Houston, with an Honor Award from Preservation Texas, and with a Landmark Award from the Houston Business Journal.
