Salem Lutheran Church and School – Expansions and Renovations

In 2026, Salem Lutheran Church and School will embark on its most significant building program to date as part of the Salem NEXT Campaign. This transformative initiative includes the renovation of the existing 30-year-old Worship Space, a complete renovation of the Community Center and classroom facilities to create a secure, self-contained school environment, the demolition of the Adult Education Building, construction of a new Preschool Building, and related site improvements throughout the campus.

The Salem NEXT Campaign represents approximately $25 million in campus improvements designed to meet the needs of today while preparing for future generations. Once complete, the project will provide renewed worship spaces, updated educational facilities for Salem’s growing Kindergarten through 8th grade program, expanded preschool capacity to serve more young families, and enhanced spaces that support worship, fellowship, education, and community engagement.

Through these improvements, Salem Lutheran Church and School is investing in its mission to serve students, families, and the broader community for years to come.
