PROJECT: UNION STATION
CLIENT: HARRIS COUNTY SPORTS AUTHORITY
LOCATION: HOUSTON, TEXAS
ARCHITECT: STERN AND BUCEK ARCHITECTS
Originally constructed in 1911, Historic Union Station served as the largest passenger rail terminal in the Southwest. In 1999, the building was renovated as part of the development of the adjacent Major League Baseball stadium. The current project includes the replacement of all exterior windows with historically replicated, thermally efficient windows featuring prefinished aluminum frames, ensuring the preservation and performance of the facility for generations to come.
